How often do you change cables and strings? I realize it depends on how often you shoot but is it every year or 2 or 3 . I had mine done yesterday. I also add some new color . IMG_20190308_120700268.jpg

Bow is 3 years old next month.

    I shoot alot
    3 winter leagues a year
3D seasons from April to Sept
    AndP ractice at home.

Well, I've had my Hoyt Vectrix for 12 years and only replaced strings/cables once. I don't shoot a lot. They happen to be the same color as yours.

For me, 4 -5 years. Keep them waxed and clean. If the bow stays in spec and there are no breaks or frays, I keep shooting.

I usually do 2-3 years. At the same time it's great to go thru everything (cams, axels, cable guide) and really make sure everything is in tune! At the same time I like to replace as many screws with stainless to prevent as much rust and oxidation.

I change mine when I start seeing wear or it starts to cause frequent tuning issues.

Changed the cable and string on my Bear Whitetail a few years ago. They lasted about 35 years, shooting occasionally.
