    You didn't mention all the friends you will make that always want to come over. Although they seem more interested in your press than actually hanging out

    Alternatively, you can pick a bow wich is serviceable without a bowpress.
    Like APAs, or the Win&Win compounds. You can put a pin through cam holes, to work on strins or cables without a press.
    Or a short-limb platform that can be wound down until the strings go slack. I moved the peep on my Ferocity that way, without a press.

    A Bow Press is definitely in my future. You can save a lot of money by learning to work on your own bow.

    Great post. There is not always a shop close by to quickly fine tune. There is so much information out there for setup and tuning. It's not too hard to get the basics down and I find it fun to work on my own bows. Maintenance is another good point here. Thanks again.
