I've been in the landscape profession for 13 years now. Did lawn care the first year then moved to landscape install. To me I find it much more rewarding creating a new landscape than maintaining an existing landscape. But I do love the smell of freshly cut grass.

I do mostly lawn spraying and fertilization. Do very little mowing and workin our way into more landscaping. Reslly want to put up green houses and start a nursery.

I hear there's good money to be made with nurseries. I can see how putting up greenhouses could be very productive in this field of work too. Everyone's wanting to start their own back yard garden these days and greenhouses are the ticket to the start. Where are you located out of? And I wish you the best of success!

Running a weed whip is by far the least favorite thing I could do, hate it.

Yeah, I have to do about every other week or they get upset about costing them too much money. It sucks and I don't want to do it but its good money. The worst are the people that get mad that you throw their flowers away even though signs are everywhere saying not to leave flowers.
