XOP step failure. Read if you own XOP sticks!!!!!

This happened today. No injuries. It was actually the first step off the ground and the guy climbing had harness anyway but he fell back when this step broke. The aluminum bracket that holds the step in place broke. We haven’t contacted XOP yet but will this week for sure. We’ve also been having the roll pins break in the locking studs on the sticks. Heads up for those with XOP sticks!!!

    I use XOP's, seem like a very solid setup but ill be watching this thread for sure.......

    yikes. Bad day waiting right there.
    Hopefully they make it right. Muddy had an issue w/ theirs a few years back and their customer service was awesome...but that was before the buyout.

    Taking them down. These were on a property a few hrs from home and we just now got the chance to get down there

    There was an issue with some of the first sets of sticks produced. They changed the design of the stop. They offered the upgraded parts on their webpage for free.
