Thought I had a set...ended up being a crushed deadhead. One of my powerline mowing crews must have run over the carcass.
I wish we had some. We r still waiting for them to drop Sent from my Z971 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Here’s #1 shed of the year I found a couple weeks ago. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Found 5 yesterday. 2 old and 3 fresh. One has a 1 inch drop tine and was part of a set with another I found. Also found a funky deadhead.
I went Sunday, walked 3 miles on 40 acres. This is all I found, and it scared the hell out of me at first. Turns out, it’s just a woodcock, and it doesn’t use that beak to suck your brains out your ears.
I ran into a coons back side sticking out of a groundhog hole today and I almost had to change my britches. It never moved but didn't seem to have flies or anything around it like it was dead. Very strange. Also jumped 4 really nice bucks that all still had antlers. I'll have to wait a while around here I guess
I actually happened to walk 4 miles and see a woodcock earlier today while I was shed hunting! I’ve never seen one before! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
