Not too bad, Sat on Saturday and saw 3 bucks and 16 does.....and guess what???? NO SHOOTERS! Our waterfowl season is now open, so I hit one of my blinds up for a quick afternoon hunt yesterday and man it felt good to throw on the waders and shoot a couple ducks! Ended up with a nice drake green top and a drake buffie. Shot down a drake Hoodie that I wanted to mount, but I ended up losing him unfortunately. Had a chance at a nice lone double of honkers, I started to work the birds and they committed to the spread, but before i could even pull the trigger my buddy shot twice and off they went!
Last day of rifle here in Pennsylvania tomorrow, cant wait for it to be over. Archery comes back in the day after xmas. How is everyone making out?

That's awesome I've only been out for ducks and geese a half of dozen times ever. Good times, I have a pond right off my yard so always ducks and geese there
Basically all of my attention has shifted from hunting to ice fishing. Might get out with the bow one or two more times this year.

Once again Ill have to apologise for being absent. Had a rough season until november then got realyl busy. Shot a buck on the 4th and then another one on the 8th. The one on the 8th was on public land and it was a real nice one (at least 120"), but my sight was hit on the way to the stand and it moved up. Hit the backstraps so hes still alive. Got 2 doe during the rifle season. I can bowhunt till january 31st so I still have time to get a doe down with my bow. Ill upload the pics of the buck on monday with the score. Still havent scored it yet.

Haven't deer hunted in a while between waterfowl hunting and dealing with some family issues, just lost my grandfather that was more of a father to me and my best friend last Friday and it certainly has been a roller coaster. I've been taking care of him for a long time now and life just isn't the same anymore, I miss him very much to say the least already. Got out yesterday for our last day of our Eastern zone. Also pulled a card where I was trying t catch up with that 10 pointer, he's still alive so that's good, but these were the first pics I have gotten of him since September and still at night. Going to try to find his sheds if I can. September... January
