    Hi Everyone,
I am a novice and I recently purchased my first compound bow and so far I love it. I've been to an archery shop and had them fit the bow to me and added a peep sight.

My plan is to get as much range time in as possible in an aim to start hunting this fall. I am an Oregon resident and I've heard there are many options available here...

I look forward to gaining more and more information and experience in this new endeavour.

Welcome to group. Oregon is a great place to hunt with good elk and deer seasons.

Welcome from an old guy who knows less than nothing. My complements on going to a shop and getting fitted with a bow. It's not a thing of "one size fits all." Was in Oregon several years ago- drove from Portland to Bend. Beautiful! Good luck shooting and hunting with your new outfit. You realize you have committed to photos of your hunt successes.

    Welcome.

This place is a wealth of knowledge from some extremely knowledgeable outdoorsmen.

(I am not one of them!)

Welcome, there is a bit of sarcasm here as well. It just adds to the fun.
