Good to hear that they did away with the blade retention clips and o rings, still going to stick with the muzzy hybrids but Rage is still improving.
I like rage! First deer I killed with a bow I used a rage chisel tip. I didn’t get a pass through shot. And one of the blades broke. I realize it’s not the norm for rage and would love to stay with rage but it put me off a wee bit. I been lookin hard at G5, But this blade might help keep me in the rage family. I’ll check some more reviews on it. Thanks for the info. Hadn’t heard of this broad head till now.
this should alleviate the biggest design flaw in the Hypos...that notch in the back of the blade where it clipped into the ring was a structural weak spot. Snapped 2-3 blades at that point and then this season one of the arrows I put into Porcupine was my "coyote arrow" tipped with my last Hypodermic. Blade didn't snap at that point but did twist like a licorice stick. That notch was the reason I went to the Muzzy HBs in the first place.
No pass through and a broken blade would make me throw the rest of them in the garbage and go to a better head.
