    Hi all,

I shoot a switchback xt. I see all the new bows have string stops and I was curious if adding one to my bow would be beneficial. I see the mathews dead end string stop on ebay for $55. If they do help, are there any other brands that would work? Thanks in advance.

I also shoot a Switchback. I put one an mine about a two months ago, and it made a considerable difference! Definitely worth the 40 bucks!! Mine is the limbsaver brand.

I personally think they quieten the bow considerably. There are lots of good ones out there. The Mathews one is good. Bow Rattler makes a decent one too. The differences between them are slight but some have a few more adjustment options. Just make sure that what ever brand you get it will fit your bow, that's really the biggest concern.

It definitely helps for hunting and does make the bow more noticeably quieter!

Cool hand Luke on Archery talk makes and sells and very nice after market string stop, think it’s about 25 shipped and he will grind the rod to your specs for your bow. I would look him up before I dumped 55 on anything

Thanks. I did. It was $45 but high reviews. He is making it now. They look really good.
