Wow! Either your shooting a kids bow or that's a huge 3 point shed! I would also love to shoot a buck like that.

Yes sir! Double lung punch. I wasnt gonna shoot him but its the same lil buck I seen limping when I went a few days ago. He never got close enough that day but he did today. Turns out he had a screwed up front hoof and swollen leg.

Thanks buddy.. believe it or not this buck kinda meant a lot the year I been having! And yeah, my 1st Jan deer! This is his hoof.. I guess he would have made it, idk. Couldn't tell why he was limping until I had him on the ground lol[IMG]

Live from the blind during Ohio's muzzy season. 2 mins from legal light and the neighbor has shot twice already. Should be an interesting morning!

No waterfowl hunting on Sunday so spending time with the family. Deer season has been over for a week so just been out chasing ducks. Congrats to those who got it done and good luck to those still out there grinding away at the late season.

You have to wonder how something like that could have happened? Congrats on taking him late season!

Been on the stand since 6.15am, had something upwind of me blow, which I thought was weird bc I wasn't moving around and it was pitch dark. Just after first light heard something behind me, turned around, damn coyote pissing on a tree. He trotted through my lane but would not stop. However, I will put a set there next week and get him with the steel.

It's been a while since I've been in a tree but I'm back up this morning.

The lying weather said the wind would be out of the south so I set up accordingly.

The wind shifted to northwest and I got winded once before light and again just after first light.

Ah well, it beats installing hardwood flooring.

I might come back out tonight but I think this may be the end of my season. My tank is on E and there is always next season. We break ground on our new build house tomorrow so at least I will have something to take my mind off that buck..

My bow season is officially over for me. I did however manage to get my first fox with a bow. Hit him at 30 yards! What a way to end the season.
