I'll get back out final weekend for sure, maybe next weekend if work lets me off. Doubtful.

Been a little hesitant to do much until I got the final bills from my ER visit. Couldn't imagine if I didn't have insurance. They billed it at just over $9500 :eek2:

Luckily my out of pocket/copay was only 450

So filed all of my Aflac claims for the year this evening and should get a bit over 800 back for that.

Next day off that is not a Sunday I am heading out. Would go this Sunday but processors are closed and supposed to get into the 50's.

    Season closes on the 20th.

Got up to go but decided not to scare them all off again with the crunchy frost!

    Good Luck everyone!

Been on the stand since 6.30am, this is the first chance I have had to post. I had three does come through milling around and then four more followed by three younger bucks. I thought well that's almost every doe when another three does, a button buck and another two smaller 8 points walked through. I like this stand! Hopefully the big dude will meander through here..

I will be in the stand briefly today to take it out of the tree, a damn squirrel chewed up one of the seat straps. Time to do something about the squirrel population. I wonder if repps is still buying squirrel tails?

I believe they do. It seems like the last couple of Mepps I bought still had the address and offer on it.

That's a battle you won't win, unless you just like trapping them. I have a neighbor who traps them and he told me he never see's a difference in their numbers.

Be sure to wear your Orange....or PINK :dan: if you’re in a late season doe area. Illinois is so stupid.

My county is closed, but I think you are still required to wear it anyhow.
