No points today, but I finally killed one with a rifle. She was the biggest of the 3 and has a double throat patch. Finally broke in my Ruger 308.

Alright guys I'm starting to feel desperate and about ready to shoot the first buck I see. I'm not seeing deer this year, so far I've seen 6 deer total this hear all does but one little 4 point. This has been one tough season and is at to get tougher this weekend with the start of gun season in Ohio.

Haven't seen this guy since August. Hoping he will show himself very soon. They aren't worried about the does just yet.

So yesterday morning I finally had another opportunity to go sit in the woods. At 9:20 A.M. I let the first arrow fly. Unfortunately it missed its mark causing a low hit. Tracked her the rest of the day yesterday and this morning with zero luck. My season has went from bad to worse. I don’t know if I’ll be out there this evening but I will try again in the morning for sure.

Dang, that sucks. We've all been there, not many worse feelings. Good luck.

Got 50 more points for us tonight. Took out this big ol' doe. Great hunt. They gave me the slip this morning, then twice again this evening. Group of 4 doe and this one was clearly the matriarch, and she was super cautious, always hanging up in the timber. She finally followed one of the doe out into my clover plot and I heart punched her at 25 yards.[IMG]

The little guys are just getting after the does now. Hopefully I can catch one of the big ones when they start.

My game has switched from deer to birds. I likely won't be doing much more bowhunting this year unless a big one starts showing up on the crop fields. The birds have treated me well though![IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Well, I’m almost done with the deer hunting. This has been just one of those years I guess. I’m hunting the rest of this week including the weekend then I’m switching over to ducks and trapping. Work has finally slowed down some so it’s time to get it done. I have a new buck showing up so maybe he’ll slip up. If any of y’all are still after em, I wish you good luck!

Sho only went 25 yards from where I shot her. This one is actually the farthest shot I’ve taken on a deer, 20 yards lol.

Well guys, The Oklahoma deer season is coming to a end! A lot of our bucks are shedding their antlers already. I doubt I go climb in the stand anymore this season. I had fun being apart of this team, wish I could of added some more points for us. Y’all be good and good luck for those that are still hunting. I’m gonna start chasing what few ducks we have here.

Well guys I'm still going hard. Not seeing much deer, what I do see are at a great distance on other properties. Still seeing deer sign, most movement seems to be nocturnal. Starting to get some small hit or miss day time activity on my feeders, times vary through. Been my toughest year to date.
