    Was going to move to a blind on the back of this property but the wind is wrong there. So back in the same blind from the other 2 days.

    I only saw 1 doe yesterday but one of the guys shot an 8 pointer and my buddies daughter shot a stud but they haven't found it yet.

    Heard of 2 reports just from today of 2 deer taken eho believed to be doe but already dropped horns and were actually bucks. Food for thought. Happy hunting.

    saw about 25 slick tops crossing the road from some private onto public when I pulled up; but wind was wrong for that side. Went over to the other side and hunted a section that was new to me. Found some fresh sign in the snow but ended up not seeing any deer once I was up in the stand.

    Hunted on the ground earlier tonight so I didn't post here. Had an unusual experience when coming out at dark as a spike basically walked right up to me. I was standing in the open completely still at a field edge and he got about 15 yards away before winding me. Comical because he didn't really know what to do except stop completely staring my direction. Only ran when I shined my light. He was silhouetted perfectly by a pond behind him and it was a really cool scene.

    Saw 16 does 3 little bucks two 3 1/2 and one 4 1/2 year old bucks but nothing I came to Iowa for. One of the guys missed a stud 8 pointer.

    Nothing close last night. Out this morning hoping for a doe. Saw 8 crossing street just before I got here. Saw 6 just after light , but too far off.
