Just recently, my best friend discovered he has a tumor in his left eye. About 3 weeks ago he underwent 2 surgeries ...one to have a radiation implant put in his eye....6 days later, have the implant removed. Though the chance of recovering sight in that eye does not have not high odds, he still has some but also has a black spot and a spot he said looks pixelated. He just got back to shooting his bow this week and discovered that in the waning minutes of daylight, he can no longer see through his peep...even though he has a Varifier installed. Does anyone know of a sight or device that would help a person in this case??? He has no desire to shoot a crossbow so that suggestion is out.
He could try shooting without a peep at all. Lots of people do it successfully Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
in all honesty, this is probably what I'm going to do next season. I get tired of trying to find correct anchor in low light. My wife already shoots that way as well.
I dont use a peep or kisser. Havent used a peep for probably a decade. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I take upper knuckle on my right pointer finger and put it in that notch behind my ear and then put the right side of the tip of my nose on the string. I like it bc I can get on target fast and it keeps my set up simple. I dont like tinkering with stuff as it unravels throughout the season. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I never could use a peep. I cheat and use a nock set on the string. Put the pin on the outside of the string, right under the nock set. I anchor with my index finger knuckle touching my ear lobe and nose touching the string. I shoot with both eyes open but do skint the left eye a little. Works great for getting on target fast, low light and nothing brothering your view like a damn peep.
