Team - Hunted dark to dark last weekend. Saw one baby spiker. I do have a couple good ones on film. The season ends soon. I will get to hunt Friday and Saturday dark to dark this week! Will try to make it happen!
Passed a decent buck yesterday, came real close to shooting just didn't want to be disappointed by talking myself into shooting him. One week down and just seeing a bunch of smaller bucks. Starting to feel like it might not happen.
So came in guna warm up a bit. Be out to stand no later then 1 pm. Sitting till dark. Last 3 sits havent seen a deer.
Now im on 4 sits no deer. Guna head down to my friends next weekend a sit. Said its been super hit or miss there.
Had a buck yesterday that I wasn't going to think twice about shooting then he stayed ten yards out of my shooting window
This is the worst I've ever seen it. Was very wet late and there is standing corn all over. I'm taking my son out this weekend and hoping he gets a chance. My luck needs to change before I head to Iowa end of December.
Team - Last Friday and Saturday I hunted hard. Was the last two days I could hunt archery. Sadly, did not see a shooter. I did have a little action with smaller bucks. Rifle starts in two weeks...then late archery and black powder after Christmas. Good luck to yall who are still trying to make it happen!

Well got it done on last day of early season. Not a giant but decent. And biggest with my bow to date. Double lung made great blood trail.
I am still at it. The rut was almost non existent this year. I saw no scrapes and very few rubs and zero chasing. Oh well maybe the 2nd rut will be more exciting. Team - Nothing in gun season so far. So...after Christmas I will start taking the bow or black powder out. Great seeing more bucks rolling in gun or bow!
