Hello all. New here from Idaho. Just bought my first bow and doing all I can to learn the sport. I'm an avid rifle hunter and am a licensed guide here in Idaho for bear lion and bobcat with my pack of big game hounds. Have wanted to get into bow hunting for years and am just finally pulling the trigger. Unfortunately I had a recent accident and shattered my leg which has me laid up for 3 months so all of the shooting and practicing I'm doing now is sitting in a chair. And once I am able to stand and walk I'll start learning to shoot standing up. Looking forward to learning from this site.

    Thanks Rich

Lucky for you learning to shoot from a sitting position is s good thing...dont look at your injury as a hindrance but, an opportunity.

Hey Rich, welcome to the site. Sorry to hear about your mishap. Shooting from the sitting position isn’t all bad as it gets you ready for hunting on the ground and from a ground blind. You’ll be addicted before you know it. :)
