    Yes! Things have been getting better. Haven't been out since the snow. Have a couple on camera that I'm letting pass.
    I'd show them but people would say I'm crazy for letting them go another year.

    Back out at it after a warm and windy weekend. The Male half of my parental unit, do not want to offend anyone as to how I refer to my family on the internet, took a doe Sunday evening in 20mph winds with one heck of a lucky shot. Would have posted picks but the male half of my parental unit went from field dressing to bagging meat at a record setting pace. The good news is that I will have summer sausage by the end of January. The male half of my parental unit is an old german butcher.

    We have until January 1st in Michigan to hunt. I'm dedicated to shooting a nice buck. I cant believe how quickly our friends have dropped from the forum. Good to y all here to encourage each other.

    Our number 1 hitlist buck was on camera 6 days ago. Had a doe and 2 fawns feeding in the cut corn for 40 minutes but that was all that I saw. Sunday is the last day for this unit so I'm going to be after him hard until it's over.

    So going in to work tomorrow and doing something I haven't done in a decade. Telling them I will work a weekend in November. Granted it is only a Friday that falls in the month, but will be the only one I have worked since 2007 during November.

    I can't hunt this weekend anyway so going to swap it for Dec 7-9th. Hoping for a cold weekend with snow on the ground. Working this weekend will get me some OT and possibly double time to help make up for my recent run of bad luck :lol:

    Going to be out there next weekend with 100% certainty.
