Unless the antlers were over 3 inches then it requires a buck tag. Not sure how big of a spike it was.

As for the not shooting does, I’ve come across a lot of people here in MI as well who refuse to shoot them. They then complain about only seeing smaller bucks. Now I’m not big on antler size. If it gets me excited I’m shooting. Lol. But to complain about only seeing small bucks when their property is over run by does who keep eating all the food up and not leaving enough nutrition to grow big antlers. Not that I’m an expert on this subject but have read a lot on it. Hard to convince people who are set in their ways

Saw two shooters while driving to the farm. 20' up and ready. Haven't been out since last Sunday when the big boy had a doe locked down 120 yards away from me for 2 straight days

Found a nice slob tree that gives me a nice high view.

    Waiting on the sun.

Saw a buck chasing a doe on the drive here. Fingers crossed.

As i have unfinished business with the local bucks, ive joining the orange slobs.

20 minutes to shooting light and i had 2 bucks following the same doe. It is a grunt fest out there!
