It's a ****** job, but somebody has to do it. I've shot the breeze over drinks with a couple doctors in my lifetime. They both had stories from residency that were horrendous. One had to help a guy who'd gotten a light bulb stuck in his "rectal vault." The other doctor had to remove a potato. One of those doctors told a story about a med school class where they were looking at patient x-rays and playing guessing games. As in "name the object" and "name the internal location." The one that stumped the entire class was a snuff can in a woman's bladder.
The struggle is real: Washing the hunting gear, trying to keep household scent away. VS The Mrs. making salmon and fried shrimp for dinner AND pumpkin bread in the oven. I’m a lucky man! Safe hunts Y’all.
I think with a boot appx. 4-5 weeks? Something like that. I'd ask him but he's in Southern IL @ deer camp. Doesn't take his work phone and I don't have his personal#.

I miss those days coaching a kid that is not physically or mentally gifted and his parent is coaching from the bleachers telling the kid to shoot and even the kid knows they have zero chance of making the shot. So glad I never coached soccer.
