    Toes are little cold. Been great sit passed on a wide short tined 8 and doe come in head on and never presented a shot.

    Was going to change stands but have decided to stay put fir afternoon. We will see if it is the right call.

    I'm at last spot I seen him. Was pretty good trail until the last pic. Then 2 drops. I can see when he headed but haven't found more blood yet

    What a morning. Right at first light I see what looks like a big eight pointer walk right past the spot where I was on the ground the other day.
    I have a steady stream of young bucks and fawns around me all morning.
    Then I hear grunting, I look to my right and here comes a doe with the big six pointer trailing.
    They bed down about 35 yards away for 2 hours never giving me a shot.
    A few times I needed him to take a few more steps to be in the open, I thought he was done
    I had six deer bedded down within 40 yards. I was pinned down, cold, thirsty and starving!
    They all finally disbursed and the big sex never give me a shot, But man it was fun.

    That's all the Sitka I can afford! Figure if I buy a few a year I can see them together for some custom gear.
    Back out now in a big pinch. Shot my buck from here 2 yrs ago, hope for a repeat. Only problem is it's by a creek crossing where 4 huge draws come together. Wind CONSTANTLY swirls so it's just a roll of the dice. Already had a small 8 Rin by w his nose to the ground.
