Drove some of my favorite back roads for seeing deer last night right before dark.

Saw quite a few does out in the fields feeding and almost everyone had a buck near by.

I think we got the lock down going on big time right now and that is why movement/sightings are down.

Live from the rant at work:
I pulled in the parking deck at work this morning and it started snowing. I can't call in sick because of a mandatory HR event today. No getting out of this without a doctor's excuse.:whip::bigcry:

Interesting 45 mins saw button feeding this way and the saw momma so was hoping she would work this way. Then small 6 pay comes through and then chases momma and then another doe comes from same direction and beds down all the sudden a doe comes screaming by at 75 yards with a small buck behind her then 15 mins later a decent 8 comes through and moves the bedded doe and button around and away from me so now I have no deer near me.

Dude! Tag Soup is a dark an humbling chapter in the bowhunters career. You had chances and held off because you knew what you were after. Another test to a bowhunters will. If you do indeed eat tag soup, reflect on your season and what you’ve learned. Think about this too.... you have like 40-50 seasons left in you!!!!! Not many on here can say that! Hahaha. I only have about 30 tops :)

Well guys just narrowed a buck. Nothing big, but 1st buck I have ever called in. Also just bought this property in FEB so 1st deer off of it. Shot little farther back than would have liked. He slowly walked down in cut. Last eyes on him about 60 yards away. Going to let him set some before try to get after him

They who shoot does in early October do not eat tag soup in late January.

if you were back and especially if it's your property give him till late this afternoon- it's cold, meat will keep, and daylight so no coyote worries. Time is your friend!

Yeah! I "SNUCK" in to my stand yesterday evening for an hour sit. Crunch. Pause. Crunch. Doe spotted me and proceeded to blabber it to the whole neighborhood for a solid 10 minutes. Man was I pissed.

    Good luck today!

I'd give him 3 hours min. Temps are pretty good around here. Definitely sounds like all liver and/or guts.

Coyotes around here don't care whether it is day or not. I shot a doe back in 2009, was in the lower 40's and I knew it was a DOA shot. Decided to let her lay and switch to another stand acrossed the property as deer normally moved through there at about 9-9:30 and was 8:15.

Never got one in range and its hard to sit still knowing you have a deer down already. Found her about 10am and coyotes had already eaten a hind quarter. Couldn't believe it.
