Got down 10 minutes early. Told myself I was going to sit till 10. Just got so cold. Wind got up over 20 and was just blowing through me like a knife wind chill around 5 or so. Start getting down at 950. Start letting my bow down the tree and an extremely nice 10 walks out of the cedars behind me at like 20 yards. The wind swings my bow against the tree and he spooks off. I know no guarantee I would have even gotten a shot but man am I mad at myself right now. Not really sure what to do at this point. That was a new set I just put up last night. Not sure whether I should move it or leave it.

I'd leave it too. If the wind was blowing that hard I wouldn't worry about it too much. If it was dead calm and that happened you might have educated an old buck. Get back in the saddle...or tree and kill that buck. Good luck.

Leave it and hunt it. You might have been to cold to make a good shot anyway.
