For the love of God, can one of you with some prime time hunting grounds get Joe into camp with you next season? He has earned it x 100.

Just got word that another buddy just shot at a buck. He is hunting about 30 minutes from me. He said since noon he has had 12 does and 3 bucks go by. He is unsure of shot, hopefully I hear back from him soon with some good news!

He's dead at the end of the painted trail. I'm going home to get my son. He is pumped. I want him to find it. I'll post later when we find him. Going to be a couple hours

One of our big boys from last year just showed back up. We've had him on 2 of our cameras in the last 5 days but no daylight pictures yet. The edge of this field has been blowing up with scrapes too. We are consistently seeing doe in the field so I'm hoping he's looking for love this evening.

Take pics. Send pics to us on here. Go home. Lie to your son about never having found the buck. Return and have him find the buck. Lie again with fake emotions when he finds the buck. Take more pics.

Didn't want to interrupt TC's track but since he is going to be a little while, this happened this morning. It was a great hunt in NY and it got me excited. I have passed a few bigger deer this year and have killed some decent bucks over the years, but this morning I was reminded that sometimes you take what you are given. I scout and run a bunch of cameras trying to get on the big ones, like most of you. This year has been different, not much going, little action for all the hours. Not complaining, just stating a fact. Anyway, this ok guy came over 100 yards from a grunt. I shooed him and told him if he came back he would get it. Went out to over 40 yards and did 180 and came right back. At that moment I realized that hunting is meant to fun. Sure, everyone wants to kill a monster, but it's not how it works. Long story short, I am thankful to the good Lord for the deer and I am sure the snack sticks will taste just as good as the others. Good luck guys. Finishing up PA season on the home property hoping for double. IMG_20181112_082749278.jpeg IMG_20181112_082821763_HDR.jpeg IMG_20181112_083017813.jpeg
