Just had a small 6 and doe hanging around before she caught too much movement. No blowing though just trotted out

Why does sitting in a tree sound so easy. I swim for my high school and honestly some days I feel like hunting can be as fatiguing. Maybe it’s a mental thing. It’s early in the year for my piss poor attitude but does anyone feel like this if hunting very hard from the opener till Christmas time??

He got up and was coming in until a little doe came in behind me then went by me and past him so he turned and followed. Got another doe out in beans. 5 deer so far. 3 bucks

I use the hot hands for feet. My feet sweat terribly bad. Just that little bit of heat makes all the difference in the world.
I also use them on the kidney pockets in my pants. Every little bit helps.
I use the Ice Breaker boot blankets when it is real cold. It was 11 yesterday morning but I didn't need the blankets, just the hot hands for feet, kidneys and hands.

39957340-8611-4DCA-BBCF-7E795A0A042B.jpeg Just got back from my friends farm in Calhoun co. IL. It was surprisingly slow (chasing wise). Saw well over 50 deer in 2 sits. No giants spotted but they are in there. Had this guy walk under me a few times this morning. Had another couple bucks bedded behind me. All deer I saw were segregated. Bucks were running with bucks. Does with does. Didn’t see any chasing. My buddy saw one nice 8 with a doe out of a lot of deer spotted so I guess it might just be starting there. They didn’t see anything rut wise last weekend either.

Haha! Believe me I’m not too good. I judge what I will shoot by the area I’m hunting. This farm is managed. They only shoot them if they’re like these or close.
