Congrats Brett hope u get him. My follies continue! After I moved stands I realized I needed to trim a small pine about 10 yards to my NW. My 5 foot tree saw won’t reach so I grabbed my bottom stick to attach to the pine to trim. I saw about 3 limbs and look dead north of me and 3 does are taking off? They never blew but I didn’t see them before I started trimming. That is my season in a nutshell!Ha ha ha!!

Just be careful with all the rain and soft pine litter, it can be hard to hear a deer moving in it. But I'm going to call it now, Heart shot, dead deer!!!

Lol! We are almost in the same boat! I walked around scouting for an hour, just to come to my trail to my ground blind . Take ten steps and say wow this a great spot. I’m set up on the path to my ground blind over looking the swamp. Low probability here.

    Can’t wait till 2 Brett!!!

My buddy just shot a giant! He asked me not to share the pics yet since he wants to put them on his website. I'll let everyone know as soon as I can!

Absolutely. I cant tell you how many bucks have snuck up on me while setting a new stand. If you was careful with your scent, hunt it. Especially this time of year

Used 20 yd pin. Was 26 yds.

Complete meat and fat. Skinned his underbelly. I got too excited and didnt follow throw and dropped my bow at the shot. Dejected but will be back Sat.

All me for the failure on shot. Rushed it and fed it through cover. Dumb.[IMG]
