    Yep, gotta get the clothes in the washer here in a few. Tomorrow is gonna be the day. 2nd day of still rising pressure, colder and coldest air of the season heading in with a chance of snow coming in. They'll be up and moving IMO.

    I got another buck tag yet, other than the chaser I glimpsed last Friday, this is the first buck I have seen. But then again, was only my 2nd sit.

    Finally, dang had to go back to when VS posted the smashing alarm clock this morning and get caught up.

    Good luck everyone this evening. I saw 6 bucks this morning. All under 100” ha. Idk what’s going on for me here in south eastern Ohio. And the doe have disappeared...thinking I’m gonna head back to public land. The property I’m hunting was crazy last year. It was my first year on it and I saw five different shooters and two giants. Ended up getting a 148” with a muzzelloader..not a shooter on trail cam or with my eyes yet this year. Daddy duties tonight then get to hit the woods again in the morning.

    Temps are looking to drop 25 degrees from now until Saturday. I'm feeling it for tomorrow if I can get 5 to 6 hours on stand.

    On a side note..check your packs. I hadn't washed mine since last Monday. My drag rope had gotten wet and balled up..stunk like hell for some reason. Washing my lucky hat from last year that was one for one for me.

    Well I decided to stick with my "hot" spot tonight. I have been hunting it about every other night. So far this week I have missed a buck and shot a doe from this stand.     Landowner who's land I've hunted for 13 years let his nephew put a blind out 35 yards from one of my best stands... Wife and I have started seriously talking about buying our own land. I'm not mad at the landowner. It's his property. I'm just bummed that I can't hunt a great stand this rut.

    Ok guys, back at it tonight. I was awol this morning because of a horrendous wind, both in speed and direction. Sitting on the ground in a blow down overlooking a main travel corridor. We'll see what this brings. Congrats to the guys who got shots today. I'm pulling for ya twitch!

    Funny story about sitting out this AM. I'm sitting in the camper watching the election results when about 7am my phone notifies me I just got pics. The cell cam is at my stand so I was really scared to open the notification. I just knew it was one of my targets going through and I wasn't there. Turned out it was just a couple of does but oh the agony. And yes I should have probably been there. Cameras, love 'em or hate 'em!

    Hang in there! Could be the calm before the storm. The area could be Ice cold, then super hot in an instant. So the silver lining is....They haven't been though YET....

    That is what keeps me up here 20 feet high with a sore back! Looking for Mr. Big. That only means about 6 points for it to be Mr Big for me! Lol won’t take much to be my personal best!
