Same here I pulled my card and all I got is a small 6 now on my main property. Sure hope I get some travelers coming through. Not hunting this weekend like I had planned, wind is bad, so I'm waiting till Wednesday.

I moved the trail camera to the food plot yesterday, going to hunt this evening I suspect that I will see the usual characters young bucks. If the wire doe lets me get drawn on her I will let an arrow fly.

Tapatalk has been giving me the fits lately so I haven't been active much. I try to check as often as I can but it's hard to sit and wait several minutes for something to load lol. Congrats on everyone's deer so far. I've been trying to stick a doe but haven't had the opportunity yet. Waterfowl is about to open up for me so deer hunting will slow down a bit but I ain't done for the year. Got back from FFA National Convention Saturday and took my 9 year old cousin out for the youth hunt that even and both Sunday morning and evening. Only saw 1 doe that was too far. Deer movement seems to have slowed down the past week for some reason. Will try to be in the stand this week sometime and this weekend

Gun season opens up Saturday morning, really won't have an effect on me no gun hunters within a mile and a half or so. I will be hunting Wednesday and Friday. Hopefully a tag will be filled.

On vacation now so hope to have a deer down by Saturday morning. Got an older buck on camera a little while ago that I saw about 2 weeks ago on his feet in daylight. Hopefully he decides to make a mistake. STC_0032.JPG

Nope, just working. Bittersweet to have a buck on the ground already. My favorite time to be in the woods is the first week and half of November. I get my second buck tag when rifle season starts on Nov. 10th. I'll be on vacation from Nov. 9th thru Nov. 18th. I'm just hoping some bucks show up, because right now I just don't have any shooters on camera. Hopefully they get the corn out this week. I have a lot of it still in around me. Gives those bucks lots of places to hide.

I killed my buck this year in light to medium rain. I'm pretty sure he felt safe to be out in daylight in the rain. Since I film my hunts, I typically don't hunt in the rain for fear of damaging my equipment. I didn't even realize it was going to rain that night, so I was already in the stand and all setup before it started. Luckily there were plenty of leaves on the tree that kept me sheltered from the rain.

Went to my number 1 spot this morning. Haven't hunted it since opening morning (September 8th) and the scrape/rub line is opened back up. Calling for rain until about an hour before daylight in the morning. Maybe I can catch him freshening them up in the morning.

Hey guys! So yesterday, I finally had a chance to go sit in the woods. I had a really fun hunt. Called in a nice buck and missed lol. I’m not a big fan of muzzle loaders but decided to try and get some meat with it. I’ll get another chance tomorrow morning but I’ll have my ol trusty compound with me. The pre rut is in full swing here so I’m hopeful a shooter will come by in the morning.

I usually do not hunt two days in a row based on the weather my window to hunt is today, getting that desperate feeling.

He showed up this morning freshening his scrapes. Unfortunately, it was 16 minutes before legal shooting time. He was a decent main frame 8 point with long beams and tall tines. Walked within 5 feet of the base of my tree and continued on his way. Maybe next time he will be running a little bit later.

Just a couple small bucks today. Hoping tomorrow morning one will screw up. I normally don’t shoot a doe this time of year but if one screws up, I’m launching a arrow lol.

Hey at least your adding something, I'm over here not adding a damn thing. Finally saw another doe last night but wouldn't give me a shot. I would be happy with a doe at this point brother. Congrats on the kill brother.
