The shot if anything was forward an down. It was no where near a gut shot and the blood looks good. I didn't get much penatration because I believe I hit the opposite leg or shoulder. 99% of the trail we could follow with ease and not have to search for blood. It was a good trail. Yes we used a tracking dog to find my sons buck. She was a huge help and ultimately found the deer. As for my baby boy. Doctors still aren’t sure what got ahold of him. He’s on some strong antibiotics so hopefully they start working soon. His little hand is swole up as big as mine. Looking like we’ll at least be here the rest of this week. There's a chance we could have bumped him again but we stopped tracking probably 40 yards from where we found him. He found a big brushy stump to lay behind and bleed out. I'm glad we backed out. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
