    I agree, the sika thing is fun but I want to hunt out of the state personally. Midwest whitetail and cheap beer by a campfire is what I'm looking for also

    I'd be interested if the stars align to get away for a weekend. There are some big tracts in southern OH and the season is very long.

    I (Columbus Day)
    I also have a lot of gear and if someone wants to carpool and split gas w/me hauling my 28' camper I'm down for that or I can bring my john boat and tent it. I have several tents. Tenting isn't tough when it's 45 degrees and up which mid October should be the case.

    Sounds like Columbus day has it? Now the question is where. I'd love to get out and scout in February/March. Hell maybe several of us can. The pre trip if you will. Good time to scout and drank, drank and scout.
