The guy from HUSH had same issue. Using small fixed heads, too. I couldn't believe that he didn't punch through. Not sure what KE Okie is pushing but you would think a Montec would have at least exited even at 40 yards.

I'm wondering if it didn't hit a rib on entry and sheer back into off side hip area- that's what happened to me with a G5 Striker on my cow elk. Lucky for me she was barely quartering to and I still got heart and lung. No exit at all and very little blood until it started spraying out her mouth and nose.

Not going tonight boys. The wind must be close to 50mph here. Our 40ft camper is even shaking.

The deer went into a giant, giant cornfield. They talked to the farmer who is chopping this field yesterday and got a call from him today. The farmer saw blood while he was chopping this field (as my friend put it... A fuc! ton of blood). A ton of blood for 80 yards, then specs, and then nothing. The farmer said they should be done chopping the field by the end of this week.

I recommended they get a blood tracking dog.

SW PA is beautiful tonight 60 and sunny. Wind is strong but in a new tree, new hope. Set up on the ridge b/t oaks and a huge goldenrod field (bedding). Good luck tonight.

I got a bit of a break on the weather. Just a slight drizzle and looks like thatvis how it will stay. Hopefully the high winds hit after dark.

Went from a small chance of rain tomorrow to s very good chance. I swear its a communist conspiracy to keep me out of the woods! Lol.

Good lucky okie. Pulling for ya!

Finally all settled in for the evening. Got in a bit late and discovered I needed to trim a couple branches. On a calm day I would have been fine but this breeze had the limb blowing right in my primary shooting lane 20181106_151539.jpeg

And at least he cleaned up the blood in this one. That always annoys me too.

He should of put scent lok clothing on, and a real tree camo hat. He should have also quickly run out and bought an Ozonics machine and taped it to his head before pics.
