Well I’m sitting the brand new farm today. Was pretty slow until 20 minutes ago. Had 2 does and a fawn come over the ridge behind me, with a huge typical 10 point right behind them. Easy 165” deer. Dark chocolate rack. Definite shooter. The does walked by at 15 yards but the buck stayed on the ridge and watched, then walked the other way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lol! For that being my first deer encounter on the farm I would say the future looks bright anyway Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You know when you posted those pics yesterday, I had a strong feeling to the point I almost posted calling the shot that you were going to shoot a monster from one of those new spots. However I couldn't hold back my gag reflexes long enough to type. lol JK JK I wish you all the best bud, enjoy following your hunts and posts.
I just wish our wind would blow one direction per day like yours lol. Ours changes every 15 minutes, almost impossible to hunt with the wind in your favor anywhere
What's your YouTube channel cuz if you said it I've missed it Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Well things are definitely starting to pick up. My #1 was five steps from dying tonight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pretty good morning so far. I’ve been covered up in deer since before daylight. Rattled in a stud 2 year old 10 point. Probably won’t sit too long. Supposed to start raining hard pretty soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Back in the same stand tonight. I used the rain mid day to check cams at my house. Zero mature bucks in the last week. I was gonna sit a blind because of the rain but it has stopped and radar doesn’t show any more until after dark, so im back in the tree. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well nothing is dead yet so you can all relax. This has been the slowest week of rut activity I have ever seen. A combination of weather and moon phase really have the daylight activity subdued. Another bully has shown up on my biggest farm. I call him the road shed buck. I have one of his antlers fron 2016 but haven’t seen him since. So he is at least 4, but possibly 5. I saw him 3 times yesterday chasing does. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
