    Just got to my hunting area. My stomach is trolling me. Hopefully I can hold it for about 4 hrs. Wind is good for my stand. Good luck out there guys and gals!

    All set! 45 minutes til legal light. I have only seen 1 deer from this setup in the last 3 sits. Moving stand mid morning if no deer. Good luck all!

    Starting to get light. Either ran out some deer on the way in or a herd of coons, hoping coons. Have a darn tickle in my throat and have almost drank all my water already

    I am up just about light enough to see . Bottom I am in has lots of water in it now . Been about 4yrs since we had this amount of water during season. By the way brought the smoke pole with me this morning.

    All set and ready. Interesting morning so far. Pulling up to farm a big doe and little one crossed in front of me. Good deer moving except they're heading down fence line i need to cross to get to stand. Decide oh well and keep moving. It wouldn't have mattered anyway cause once got over fence and last 100 yards before stand is pretty thick and I tripped and rumbled around getting snagged on briers anyway. But here now and it's legal time to shoot all is good ha.

    Set up in the stand I killed my big 8 pointer in 2012. .270 in hand as it’s Minnesota’s rifle opener. Allowed to kill 3 deer this weekend but I’m only after something to put on the wall.
