    As I was walking back to my stand after tracking my doe last night, this big boy decided to take on a car. Unfortunate end to a great buck, but I was able to get a salvage tag and put him in the freezer. I rough scored him at 163 2/8 gross

    Great buck. Shame to see them get hit by cars but such is life. Happens around here all the time.

    That's a hell of a buck!

    Curious what you're going to do with him? I'd have a hard time not mounting him, way too nice of a buck to turn into rattlers or toss into a pile.

    A lot of differing opinions on what you do with one you didn't kill or have a history with.

    Car was a small SUV, front was totally caved in, undriveable. I'm going to do a European mount. I thought about a shoulder but decided not to. bringing his hide and the doe's to the tannery to get
