    I had a doe at about 40 yards, as i grabbed my bow she seen me. I have to stay off my phone

    Just now a spike was 10 yards away. But had to let it walk, Damn earn a buck.

    My thoughts exactly. Drizzle is a subjective word. When I left I decided to forgo the umbrella so I had one less thing to carry. Poor decision, I'm wet. Has since backed way off so going sit it out for a little while.

    Now rain has stopped, only 1 1/2 hrs later

    But I'm still wet, I've seen deer at a distance so far , I couldn't tell what they were thou just body and legs

    Its better than nothing.

    Wind has picked up leaves are falling at good clip.

    I killed a buck 2 years ago that was chasing a doe hard, I couldnt get a shot while he was running her so I called a few times to try to pull hi away. He didnt, but after she got away from him he was pissed and came right over to my side of the trail, I shot him when he was tearing up a bush over a scrape-not sure if my calling had anything to do with or not but it might be worth a shot

    Doe came in to these beds from the wide open. Right where my scent is blowing. She let everyone know a killer is in the woods....for 5 minutes

    I can’t see him anymore. Initially I saw a small buck chasing so I pulled out my phone to video cause it looked like they may stroll by... then that buck came running through. I’m guessing they didn’t go far cause I can see slit of area and there is a pond and major rd the direction they were headed.[​IMG]
