Live from...the cab of my truck. Thundersleeting. Yup. Was supposed to be sunny and 49 today.

Might just have to go back to camp and start slicing out backstraps from this AM

I like mine. Kind of hard to get wrapped around the tree just right but once you do you can get up quick and pretty quiet. Only other issue is how to adjust the seat depth. Need to work on that..

I'm on a ground blind now, just checking out a new area to see if it's worth bringing out a tree stand. This will be my last sit for a couple weeks.

My pops got one last night. Just a little fork horn but he's happy with it and so am I- might be his last hunt he's pretty ate up with arthritis and heart disease.

Bucks starting to move by me, drew back on a decent 8 pointer Friday night, he was directly behind me and when I went to put the pin on him my tree strap tightened up and I couldn’t get on him before he ducked back into cover

so that means we're at least at 200+ whatever over 50 turkish's comes in at. Sitting pretty.
I will double check Heartstopper, but it might count for your buck entry. Just letting you know.

    Keep knocking them down, boys.

FITZ- can you chime in on that? rules say first "antlered deer" must count as the first buck. Personally I think that means "legally antlered" which in my states say at least 1 antler must be over 3" to count as an "antlered" deer.

To me this should only count as an antlerless deer. Please advise.

Great work fellas! I’ve had two shooters close call on both. A nice 10 following a doe needed to walk 10 yards further for me to get a shot when the doe saw the buck behind she ran and the buck followed. Two big bucks in two days is a good start to my 10 days.

I would think if the deer is registered as a doe it should could as a doe? At least here the horns need to be 3” for it to be registered as a buck

I know Indiana, Michigan and I believe Wisconsin don't count a deer that doesn't have at least one point over 3" as being "antlered" (meaning would need a doe tag or unrestricted tag to take it.)
