After reading through this thread and from my own personal experience I've decided that bowels, bowel movement, last night's dinner, and other gastrointestinal problems play a very real role in bow hunting deer.

Gonna have another windy day tomorrow, really hoping the leaves are getting knocked down. Doesn't look like another frost/freeze forthe foreseeable future.

    7 days.......

It’s been a “very real” thing this morning in my woods... If he woulda fallen over from being in my presence that would have been quite the story.

Haven't heard or seen anything since before daylight when I heard a buck grunt about 40 yards south of me. Hea dbhim walking around too. Could not see him. Hopefully momma doe comes through soon. The wind is shifting a bit.

Pretty morning, especially since I can see more with the fog burning off. I did drop my quiver tho. Only need the one arrow anyway, right?? [IMG]

This is my third sit in a row on my new property. I saw 10 does/fawns yesterday morning, three does yesterday afternoon and five does/fawns so far this morning.

What seems strange is that I'm only sitting 70 yards from the new house.

I'm really just trying to get an idea of the movement patterns here.

It's looking like there is a good deer population here, but I've not seen a buck yet.

I'm sure I will at some point in the future.

It's dead here. Not even the squirrels are out. Oh, I did have a booner cardinal in the blind window at sunrise.

Didn’t get out this morning, wind is 20mph in the wrong direction and it was raining good enough that I wouldn’t have felt comfortable shooting anything for fear the bloodtrsil would disappear

Just had a big ole owl land in my tree. He didn’t stay long once he saw me.

Well no deer yet. I've seen all the squirrels though. All of them

Nothing yet here either. I think the squirrels even slept in.
