Cool morning here in southern Illinois. Just had a basket rack 8 come by. The leaves are starting to drop! Good luck everyone. I told myself less phone time in the stand this year so I’ll check back with you all later and catch up on the thread

Jumped a creek and may have misjudged the distance a bit. The water in here on the way to this stand is sometimes shin deep too. Thank goodness I’ve got my alphaburleys.

2 more doe with their fawns at about 100yds.

I’ve been going through extremely low deer sightings the past three years. It’s very defeating, and has been easy to let my guard down. Good luck this morning!

Beautiful morning. Had a couple deer walk by at dawn, couldn’t see what they were, nothing since.
Got me some piping hot, rocket fuel coffee and cliff bars, life is good

I’ve had the same problem. Just gotta stay motivated. Hard part is my state says populations of deer are higher than ever . Oh the irony

Well surprisingly slow morning. Had that small buck early and then a doe and a fawn in the beans an hour or so ago and nothing since...

This is from The Morning Call Publication...

The current lump sum cash payout is estimated at $904.9 million, but that's before taxes. The highest federal tax rate for 2018 (payable in 2019) is 37 percent for income above anywhere from $300,000 to $600,000 depending on your filing status.

Just drew on a coyote at 35yds. Facing right at me. Didn’t know what it was until it cleared a willow. He busted me before I could shoot. Only the 2nd coyote I’ve seen while on stand.

Just had a big bodied spike at 35. Wind is starting to shift, not liking that at all.
    Might have to bail soon

Just had a run-in with 5 or 6 does. Had bow in hand ready to draw on the one closest to me and another further away took off running. Never blew just took off. I missed my target tree by 20 yards this morning and if I was in it, I would have had 3 in range!!!!
