    Hi guys. Eric from Athens Ga. I used to be active on here but college made me take a year off and now that I'm back I have scored a 50 acre lease in coffe county ga. Never hunted south ga land as I have always hunted a 200 acre family farm in Morgan county that was recently sold. So I'm pretty stoked about this season its gonna be a huge change for me.

    That being said my new house has a 1 acre patch of woods that acts as a funnel between two huge timber companies. On the other side of the patch is a big church. I have baited in there for the past month and I am wondering of I should go give it a sit. what do you guys recommend?

    Jumped a small doe sneaking to my stand. Shouldn't really change much. Nestled up 20ft in a big hickory tree. Will keep you guys posted if i see any movement.

    Once the wind gets above 20mph, I feel like I have less success. When does start heating up, a moderate wind can increase buck activity.

    In the woods tonight. Andy is combining the cornfield near me. I love hunting when they're picking.

    Pastor Jim...I like the fact you're being aggressive. Make him your own.
