    6DBCAB5E-3A1D-4B9C-BF47-CB775F34A17C.jpeg Just had a cool encounter. Got into my tree late. Cussing myself as a nice doe came by as I’m screwing my bowholder in. She was a little out of range anyway. Then I see movement ahead so I glass. Two bucks sparring. Can’t tell what they are exactly but I see decent head gear. I lose sight through the thick. About a minute later I hit a light grunt. Within seconds on a string a forkie shows up. He skirts around me to the down wind so I wait on that decent headgear to follow. Sure enough 5 minutes later this guy shows up. I had him at 25 yds but he was very alert. Couldn’t decide on if I wanted to shoot him or not. He Stared at me but never spooked. Walked away and stopped to make a rub. If he comes back I may let him have it. 3 year old probably 110”. I know it’s hard to see........and just smacked a doe as I’m writing this :bow:

    Slow here. Had a deer blow but didn't see it and there's no way it saw me or probably even smelled me. Was like 100 yards away in some thick stuff. Maybe it was spooked by something else?

    and just like that it can change. Just missed a doe low. I thought she was at 25, and she pegged me on the draw so I held low right at bottom of heart thinking she would duck- she didn't, and I just ranged to where the arrow is blinking at me and it was 30.

    I just had a big doe with two fawns and a 1 1/2 in tow.... I didn’t take the doe because I saw horns but I couldn’t bring myself to shoot him as he was only a 6 point.... dammit
