Well after putting in 72 hours at work last week I was able to get out yesterday evening for the first time. Season opened Saturday in Ohio. First doe that came through I was able to send a magnus buzzcut through her heart. Went through her like butter..she ran 30 yards, flipped, and was done. Ended up seeing 9, all doe. My dad was 200 yards away and seen 14, 11 were bucks. Confidence is high but waiting on a cold front to go after one of my big boys. So far the season is looking great! Right on man! Im playing the waiting game with heat and mosquitos here in NC, its friggin hot and thanks to our new friend Florence the skeeters are amazing. I'm hoping to get into the blind in 2 weeks providing the weather works out
Thanks bud. I made myself keep it 20 and under on a doe to make sure I didn’t have any tracking job or long track. I used an entire bottle of sawyers on my pants, shirt, and hat lol it seemed to really do the trick until I was gutting her. Then I was infested. I’m gonna give it a couple weeks before I go after my buck. Gonna get hot again for us... Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
