Finally got into some birds with my old college roommates. The shoots were good but man I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard in my layout than when I’m hunting with these two.
Just passing through after leaving the lodge...if you haven't been to Saskatchewan for fall migration - do it. The things I've seen were AMAZING. The weather played a toll for some things, like crane, and snows didn't have many babies this year, but still awesome. I'll share some videos when I get back in the states.
Had a great opener here in Iowa. Fun little video my buddy made too. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Its hard to get excited about waterfowl hunting in OH after hunting up north. Nothing like it. Glad you had a good time. Post some pics and videos when you can.
It was definitely opening morning. I knocked off some cobwebs. I was so excited this morning I almost forgot my jacket in the garage lol. Was able to knock down a couple woodies. The sunrise was great though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Had a good morning on the lake, should a had more but the wind was rough. Duck opener for us, scratched out 3 geese and 7 ducks, nice mixed bag. Though always an adventure, boat ran out of gas and had to have my wife run out gas on the pontoon, luckily haven't put it away for the winter yet. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Back at it today. It’s raining a little bit but it should stop soon. Hopefully this morning I can knock down a drake to break the ice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Finally got my lights hooked up. This should make for a nice ride early in the morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tim Grounds I want to let all of Tim's good friends know he had a 4-wheeler accident Sunday afternoon and died instantly. He was spraying weeds down at his club and the 4-wheeler turned over on him. No arrangements have been made as yet. Hunter, his dad, and I want to thank each of you for your loyalty to Tim all through the years. He loved GOD, the geese, his work, his friends - he loved life. He taught so many and was generous to a fault. HE WAS THE #1 GOOSEMAN. And if you were his friend, he had your back and you knew it. ~ Hunter, Bill and Juda
Our season opens back up Saturday. Another 3"+ of rain coming so will likely try to get out. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I’m planning on heading out tomorrow to a new public land spot. Looks like it’s going to be rainy and kinda warm. Hopefully I can at least see some ducks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So much for that plan. Just realized the date. WI season is closed for a week. Guess I’ll just scout. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
