I like the layered clothing. Can remove or add as needed. Now if I had a permanent blind, or a blind on wheels might be a different story. Next year maybe?

The older I get the warmer I want to be. I find the buddy heater and a fleece blanket in my blind a must. It's not really the cold, but the winds, t 20180906_132347_resized.jpg 20180907_131707_resized.jpg 20180907_142923_resized.jpg hey are brutal here. So I have many blinds I have built 3 blinds. 1 wooden and 2 cardboard. The oldest is a 9 yr old cardboard blind. The favorite popups are doghouse type. They dont collapse in the snow and least favorite is a hub blind. I have carpet or rubber mats in all of them . These are the ones I have on my devise right now.

I mentioned the cardboard and wooden blinds, so I took some pics yesterday. The wooden one is behind the pine tree it has 2 doors made out of cardboard it is 8 yrs old. The tower blind is all cardboard over 2x2 frame with a cardboard roof that is covered in roofing rubber this is 4 yrs old.
