I used it this morning actually. Buck was 5 yards away down wind. As far as i can tell, its great!

Both of those are great bucks. I’d say one is around 135 and the other a touch over 140. Kill em amd lets see.

 

Never used nose jammer but evercalm works.

 

I was not able to put anything down last weekend. My buddy who I got into hunting 4 years ago was able to take a 5x4. It is his first bow buck. I would have let him walk but he was super pumped about it and that's all that matters. It's fun to see someone who never shot a bow to taking a buck. The excitement is contagious.

 

I’m an Evercalm believer myself. Use it for everything. Cover scent, scrapes, ect.

Those are some nice looking trail cam pics guys, all would be great additions to the wall and scorecard.

Getting the rest of my stands dialed in today, my bow is ready to go, getting my odds and ends taken care of before the season begins this weekend.

Agreed, I'd say the second one looks closer to 150. Wish you had more angles on them.

My first deer was a 3 point lol.

 

First deer was with a shot gun and a doe. First buck was a 6 point, also shot gun. First bow kill was a doe. First bow buck was a small 8 pointer.

 

THose are nice bucks. 140-150ish is my guess. Heading out this evening to do some deer stand work! It is almost the first! Can't wait to get in there and put down a deer!

 

Opening day forecast for Saturday is saying high of 60 and low of 47 with a NNW wind. That would be at least a ten degree drop from Friday. I sure hope that forecast holds true.

Yeah a few days ago they had the wind from the south on Saturday. Hoping for something out of the north.

 

Almost had a doe to add to our scoreboard. Was just alittle to dark for the shot...☹️

I am back at my parents house in Calgary after spending the last six days chasing elk out of cell service. There are too many stories to post from my phone. I will put a thread in the Bowhunting Talk forum sometime next week. As a teaser, we spent three hours butchering tonight and will probably spend about six hours doing it tomorrow before flying home Friday.
