A buck I got last sunday with the same broadhead I got my spike with. Entrance is the bloodier picture, exit didnt seem to bleed alot. I think its because it went through the meat of the shoulder. Shot 8yrds broadside Complete passthrough Double lung Ran about 75yrds Blood trail started within 5yrds, and started solid then reduced to drops for about 30yrds then went back to solid. 2nd kill with broadhead I would recommend for low velocity/lowpoundage shooters Magnus buzzcut 2 blade
2 doe in 2 nights with the same broadhead. Qad exodus. First deer was broad side about 22 yards pic is the exit. Second deer is entrance quartering away at about 12. Both shots were pass throughs both deer fell after a short run. 1st deer went about 120 yards, second went about 50. Blood trails were both pretty sporadic at first but got bigger closer to the deer. Shot from a blind so entrance and exit were equal which might have been why the blood trails weren't as much as they could be. Also no pic of broadhead because its already going back in the quiver Sent from my SM-G930P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I know this thread kind of got buried during the season, but if anyone else has their results or pics they would like to share from their kills this season please feel free to share!
Do you mainly stick with just one kind of BH or do you test out several? What do you feel works best so far on those pigs
shot this buck at about 12 yards from about 18" up.. I hit him low... I actually thought I gave him a low armpit haircut. I hit low behind the shoulder and it came out in mid chest area. The deer went about 200 yards with a steady line of blood that looked like someone just walked w/ red paint. Solid red trail a few inches wide the entire way. You can see the exit in the first pic. 2ndpic shows the entry w/ a NAP Spitfire XXX 100grain. 3rd pic is when I walked up on him dead in field. the last 2 are from the blood trail. Not the shot I had hoped for, but the Spitfire tore him up
I do stick with one kind but my brother has tried montecs, and slicktricks with great results on them. I just like the two blade because I know I will get through thr other side as long as I dont hit a major bone. But when I can im going to test out the 4 blade black hornet ser razor. But to answer your question I feel the buzzcut has performed best for me.
Shot this doe last night. Double lung shot from 15 yards with my Hoyt Defiant 34. Bow is set at 65# with a 415 grain arrow. The broadheads I use are the Radical Archery Design Rival 100. It was a complete pass thru and buried it in the dirt. Great head, the fly great and are razor sharp. Made right here in the USA too!
