I did get quite a bit of meat though. And the wife and neighbors are very excited for some venison. 20180919_224740.jpg

Not sure but seems like if you take a picture of you with your bow and all parts of deer still in tact especially head that seems like it would be another angle or view of the same deer. Probably not what pics most people take but should be able to tell it’s same deer. If there were 3 arrows in him you could definitely prove it’s the same deer by wounds on carcass. Congrats on getting him by the way. If it doesn’t work out that you can count him In contest sounds like you still have opportunity to get another.

It’s fine! There’s nothing to be sorry about. Just post that picture twice and you’ve got your 2 pics!

Just got some good news from my boss! We get rid of this batch of chickens this Monday and we don’t get chickens until November and then the chickens don’t start laying eggs until 3 weeks! Bad news for my boss because they don’t get paid from Tyson in that span of time but good news for me because I won’t have to work which means more time in the stand!

Yeah. It’s pretty bad. We were supposed to get chickens 2 weeks after we got rid of this batch and then they kept on changing it.

Congrats on the deer. As far as the second pic, just take one with you, the head, hide and bow and post it. There has already been a couple posted with only one pic and it got counted

I’m sure if you private messaged Brad and talked to him he’d understand and just let it slide.

Season opens up here next week! I still have a few things to do but I'll survive. With any luck this will be the last weekend I work till Thanksgiving. Good luck to those getting out this weekend>

Sept 29 and runs through Feb 3 They are suppose to be drilling a well on the property the next week or so. That will have things buggered up for a little bit. But, I typically don't get serious about buck hunting until the beans come down in the beginning of October and I won't shoot a doe until the late season anyway.
Its still nice to get out in the observation stands and see whats going on.

I’m loving this weather! But unfortunately it looks like it won’t be like this opening day.

00000005.JPG 00000004.JPG Only pics I had today. My place usually gets better when the crops are out, but not getting the pics I was hoping for.

No worries get out when you can.

I haven't had many good pictures myself. I'm not sure if its the coyotes or the poachers that has them messed up. Cameras only tell part of the story. I'm sure you will start seeing more deer once you start hunting.

I used to years ago until my 8 mm camcorder broke. I wish I could again but haven’t been able to swing getting a new camera set up. Have tried using my I-phone even made a special mount for my stabilizer using parts from a selfie stick but it wasn’t real easy to operate.
