    Duane Thomas, former Cowboy, said it best: if the Super Bowl is the ultimate game and such a big deal, why do they play one every year? Hype and BS.

    Or any vehicle. It's a yellow-bellied move from someone who clearly needs sedation or meditation or an intervention and anger management classes.

    WVU fans were so unhappy in the mid-70's with Bobby Bowden's teams performances they burned him in effigy all over Morgantown. They ran one of the greatest coaches in college football history out of town, and we all know how Bobby's story ended. Fans are stupid overall. Worst kind of mob mentality there is. They don't watch film, plan any game strategy, etc, but they're all experts.

    Because every season ends up with crowning the leagues ultimate champion, to dismiss the Super Bowl is kinda foolish look at the economic impact and viewer numbers. People who are just casual fans watch the game.

    It's a big deal for corporations, but the average fan needs perspective, as does the average player. We are talking about the kind of fan who would key a car. Unfathomable to me at any point of my life.

    A University of Oklahoma fan and a Texas fan got into an altercation a couple years ago at a sports bar here in Oklahoma City and it ended with one of them being castrated.. all over college football. I have season tickets to OU and the Thunder, I enjoy going but will admit I avoid fanatics.
