    Elk is about all I can think about and I'm not even going hunting until next year. I'm gearing up and learning a lot about it. I went rifle hunting in 2016 but in 2019 I'll have my bow in hand. I'm halfway through Corey Jacobson's Elk University Course (which is 40% off today if you use the promo code "100k") Tons of good info their and I've loved the Randy Newberg OnX E-Scouting videos.

    If anyone has any tips or simple advise on Unit 551, I'd be happy to hear it in PM. I'm not looking for specifics. Thanks!

    My buddy filled his tag opening day. He bought the 3 season tag too. Lol.
    I got to pack out both front shoulders and the backstraps.... but that's as close to hunting as I've been yet. Ugh.

    For anyone doing an elk hunt this fall! Remember the wind! Not only how to keep from getting busted, but how to use it to have better odds on placing the bull where you need him!!
