Just picked up a new optimizer from my local bow shop. everything works on it and so far I love it. it was a used sight someone traded in so got it for 20 bucks. the sight didn't come with any tapes and I know I can buy them online. however from what I understand the tapes only come out to 60 yards. i was hoping to find longer site tapes as I enjoy making longer shots then that. just for fun with my buddies. does anyone know where to get tapes like that or another way to mark then? Which HHA do you have? My sight is a 5019 (I think-it has a lever, not a wheel) and it has tapes out to 80 yd's. I just can't get it to adjust far enough to use the 80 mark.
I have the 5019 as well and I did take a shot out at 80 today and didn't have an issue but I haven't seen the tapes Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Has anybody had to use a shim plate with an XL on a Matthew’s bow? I ran out of windage with my new Tetra but my bow is tuned and my center shot is typical of a Matthew’s bow.
If I took the time to adjust my rest I could get to 80, but I only practice out to 60 and I can shoot to 70 or so, so I haven't bothered. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
I had an old 5019 and bought replacement tapes off from Amazon and they had some in there up to 80yds. If no luck there, then make you own with tape or vinyl. Sent from my SM-N950U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
