Ok perfect thanks. Here's a pic to help. Should I just divide it up into 4th for the H measurements?

So I divided it up better. Nothing changed in the other measurements. But with the other measurement it gained 6.
Sorry. First year taken a score. [IMG]

Looks good, and again congrats. I sure wish I had some backstraps. I have a couple steaks left from last year’s buck that I’m going to grind up to make some salami.

I'll keep checking back for the scorecard post to pop up. But I'm the mean time we'll be out and about trying to fill two elk, deer, and a bear tag.

Awesome. I was guessing that it would be about 55” as I was doing the math in my head this morning. Way to get us on the scoreboard! Heck you may be tagged out on deer before the rest of us even get going.

Our season came in this morning but it is brutally hot. I may try to go Monday or Tuesday morning and give my #1 buck a try. As soon I see the spots have faded on the fawns I’m going to try and knock down a doe to get some fresh meat.

Well. We made it to our parking spot at 4:00am. Hiked in at 5:00 am. Sat in the stands till about 3:20pm. Wind got to bad. We decided to head out to another spot on a different mountain. On the way there we spotted two deer a ways off the road. Not the way we planned. But if we see the challenge of spot an stalk we'll take it. The stalk started. Stalked in to fifty yards away. Waited for a shot. Spooked an ran. So we continued the drive over. Spotted them again. Decided to stalk again. Stalked in about thirty yards an waited for a shot. Shot got presented at 40 yards away. Got set. Went to release nothing. . Got reset aimed an released. Arrow flew straight. Double lung pass through right into the log behind it. Being so hyped I noticed where the arrow hit but loosing track of where it went I backed out. After a no blood trail. And a thourgho search. We found him laying 40 yards from impact behind a big log that was down.

Yep - I’ve killed plenty of deer from the ground but I don’t think I could say any of them could be considered spot and stalk. I either bungled into them or they bungled into me and they couldn’t get out of the way of catching an arrow.

It’s another thing all together to actually stalk up on a deer that you saw from a distance and shoot it with a bow.

Picked up another good one this weekend. Had pics of him last year as a 3 yr old but really thought the rifle hunters got him.

He’s a year away from potentially being special if he can run the gauntlet again. I wish I could pick him up and transplant him to a different farm and give him another year.

Finally getting some good rain here in Central Oklahoma. Should have about 7/10ths of an inch out at the hunting ground with more on the way. Could not have come at a better time, the plots were getting dry.

Brad acknowledged it when he assigned him to us. Probably just another person from AT that has nothing better to do. I will send Brad a msg today. I am still wondering why it was even allowed since he had only 1 post and it was on the sign up thread and hasn't been seen on the forums since. All in all, it is just a contest for fun, scores should be based on an average and we stand a good chance at whooping team 3.
