Got a question I would appreciate the your response to : Do you use black tops and head gear in a blind ?? And if so would you be interested in a top that was basically a hoodie / face mask combined, used silver technology and was black ? Thanks for the help
I always wear a black top when I'm in a blind. Most of the time a facemask as well. Recently used the new Savanna Reign jacket from ScentLok in black and loved it. It's a full-zip jacket with a hood and facemask built in. Plus it's treated with NeverWet so water literally beads off if it gets wet. Works great for a light rain or general moisture although it's not 100% waterproof. Its great in a blind as you're not getting soaking wet but you do get some water on you if it's raining.
Yes, it seems very simple and I like simple products when it comes to being unseen in a ground blind.
The great thing about capitalism is someone can reinvent the wheel 1000 times and still profit. Ill stick with a black hoodie on the very rare occasion that I hunt out of a ground blind. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
This is what I did... https://www.scheels.com/p/millenniu...refn1=Activity&prefv1=Hunting|Fishing&start=6
Ground blind is all I hunt, I simply wear a black hoodie or black anything to blend with the back drop. No need for any type of real tree or any expensive gear. It works for me, and its super simple plus I can wear a bunch of extra warm clothes, done my fair share of tree hunting, and I am blessed with property that allows me to use strictly ground blinds.
Little holiday tip. With Halloween coming up, the stores are always stocked with cheap black face mask and complete black tops (for ninjas)
Not for me. Can't stand a hood. I have an 18" neck and hoodies choke me. If I go to a 2XL they are too big on me. When I turn my head with a hoodie the hood doesn't turn and blocks my view. For many years I have used X-System (was X-Scent) silver fiber base layers, gloves & facemasks.
